Like a Swiss handmade watch where everything goes hand in hand and just one piece missing effects the whole measuring instrument and renders it useless, so is trading also based on a complex mechanism where all different aspects involved like psychology, money management, system development and trade execution need to work as a unity. If the development towards mastery in the different aspects is attempted sequential like system development first and money management second and so forth one would never reach state of harmony for a consistent result. That being said, today i want to talk about practical applications on how to condition proper execution mechanisms. The individual trader might say-but why-all it is is to press a button-but the million dollar question is to know when That being said it is clear right away that the most predominant aspect here is time and it is time which is the most overlooked aspect in trading-also the most counter intuitive since we as humans do not have a sense for time. 5 minutes in pain can feel like an eternity and time stands still, while time flies when you're having fun, meaning time goes bye real quick In trading any emotional burden on time like this ruins ones execution discipline. Confidence: some of you have seen me do this in real time for over eight years: https://www.theflowtrader.com/single-post/confidence-and-consistency System development: even if you were only following in PPT for as much shorter period of time all system components were repeatedly shared and explained with a principle summary stored under this link: https://www.theflowtrader.com/ Risk Control: risk control is the most important part of trading since more than 27.5% draw down is non recoverable and no dough no games Psychology: the trader himself is the highest risk-since humans are unstable

meaning do not trade:
divorce, wedding, move, death in family, loosing streak, domestic fight, in short anything that has elevated emotional state
Conditioned mechanisms are necessary.
entry versus exit:
-entry you are in control and have choices, exit you are forced to a reactionary behavior
=possible stress
=high likelihood
for human error

true principle is complete management of entries and exits prior to entry:

conditioning new behavior
workaround
Set it and forget it:

i use flow diagrams which allow integration of overlooked problems and a mimicking of how the mind is organized:
after entry:
