Kraut Doughnuts (Bavarian Krautkrapfen)
it is truly very easy: you make a dough out of 200g of flour,1 egg,small amount of canola oil and small amount of warm water and some salt
let the dough rest for 1 hour
roll the dough on floured surface to rectangular shape and add some sugar on top-just a tiny bit-spread out a can/jar of sauerkraut and salt
roll and cut roll into pieces
put in a pan butter and canola oil and set rolls inside next to each other
add favorite sausage pieces on top and heat for 3-4 min
deglaze with chicken stock and cook on medium heat with lid on top for 20 minutes
