From your coach
Fellow traders,
I am so glad this morning's early slides did not accelerate.
This kind of sales on a Sunday can lead to those dark days when breakers get hit early, the market can get ahead of itself, and an avalanche is set in motion.
I am aware that with some of my comments in real-time, like posting crypto portfolio lists in double-digit percentage losses, I am not making friends since some of you are holding extended portfolios, some even without stops or hodl.
I am not doing this out of ignorance and am holding back on my short trade postings not to throw oil into the fire, but my role as a coach is not to make friends.
One of the most significant benefits of working with a coach is accountability.
I am self-taught for the most part, and the lack of accountability got me in the past of my trading career into some quite dark places of feeling guilt and shame to an extreme extent, all the way to anxiety attacks and suicidal thoughts and ill health.
Suppose it costs me animosity and being less liked to prevent these shadows from arriving at your door. In that case, I gladly take these burdens but rather be an excellent coach to you, call the market for what it is and how I see it, and present the truths I have found without sugar coating, even if they might be antagonistic to your findings.
Remember, change starts with a choice. It's up to us to make the decisions that will shape our trading journey.
If you defend your limitations, you get to keep them.
Most traders are "do it yourself" personalities, and as a result, they struggle with many fears, such as a lack of confidence, imposter syndrome, feeling not enough, and fear of success.
If you trade with a mentor instead, you are provided with a map and benefit from more speed (shortening the learning curve), and isn't it better to learn from other people's mistakes rather than your own
Again, accountability is one of the most significant benefits of a team.
This is one of the reasons why I encourage questions and postings to expose yourself to this group of like-minded individuals. It could also highly benefit you to team up with one of your colleagues in this group to exchange yourself and leave that sardine box most traders corner themselves in.
One can't operate from a place of constant fear and be successful.
It is better to try and fail rather than live a life of regrets since, after all, it is only our failures that we can learn from.
