New Years Resolution – Outstanding Performance

We often get asked how we achieve such great performance in our trading… Let me take this time of the year to illustrate the principle on which our success if founded on. Confidence – Like the group of people who had positive experiences in prior years follow through on new years resolutions versus the group of people who struggle to do so, results are dependent on discipline.

Discipline is nothing but conviction. Conviction comes from experience and the ability to simply work through obstacles until desired results are achieved. In trading this reflects through having a plan and executing that plan with confidence. Let us illustrate by examining our last chart book entry:

And you will find that the time prediction is not random (see yellow time bar), but just like everything else nothing is left to chance (it is this attention to detail that allows for profits of in this case 30% in 5 days even so the market went only sideways):
